Will you be visiting Sitka soon?

A visit to the Alaska Raptor Center offers an unforgettable chance to see wildlife care in action. Here, you’ll get an up-close look at how injured birds are treated and rehabilitated, while learning about the center’s mission to return them to their natural habitats.

Along the way, you can meet the Avian Ambassadors, remarkable birds that help bring raptor natural history to life through engaging educational programs. A standout moment is watching bald eagles in the Suzanne and Walter Scott Flight Training Center as they rebuild their strength and practice flying before their release.

It’s an inspiring and eye-opening experience that will leave you with a deeper appreciation for Alaska’s incredible wildlife.
