Pele (Peregrine Falcon)
Pele was found on the ground in a gas station parking lot in Friday Harbor, Washington. The cause of his injury is unknown, though it is suspected that he collided with a car, building or wire. He was unable to fly and had a drooping left wing. His x-rays show no signs of acute breakage and it is likely he tore critical flight muscles and tendons on his left side. Due to this soft tissue damage, his flight is limited to just a few feet.
