Alaska Raptor Center’s 40th Anniversary Campaign

The Alaska Raptor Center turned 40-years-old in 2020.  An anniversary of this magnitude for any non-profit organization is a joyous occasion worthy of celebration! Although we are unable to gather in-person like we planned, we are honoring the milestone with a Virtual 40th Anniversary Campaign through Facebook (www.facebook.com/AlaskaRaptorCenter/) beginning Monday, November 23 and ending Friday November 27.  Throughout the week, we will be reflecting on our history and milestones over the years. On Friday, our fundraiser will conclude with a LIVE STREAM at 2pm Alaska Time from our newly upgraded natural eagle habitat.

With the loss of tourism and our annual gala fundraiser, we are asking for your help to reach our goal of $100,000 by Friday November 27th.  This will cover our financial shortfall and help ensure that we make it through the lean winter months.

If you would like to help us reach our goal of $100,000 by Friday November 27th, Donations can be made on our Facebook Page, right HERE on our website, or by calling the Center at 907-747-8662.

Your support will help us stay open for many more decades and continue our important work helping Alaska’s wild birds.  As always, we thank you for your continued dedication to our facility and mission.

In 1991 the Center moved from Sheldon Jackson Colleges campus to its current location and has completely transformed over the 30 years that followed.
The Alaska Raptor Center is the only full-service avian hospital in the state of Alaska.

Now 40 years old the Alaska Raptor Center has earned its status as a premier avian hospital sanctuary and educational facility.

A Big thank you to our campaign sponsors
