The Alaska Raptor Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of wild birds of prey and the advancement of conservation through education.
What We Do

Each year we admit over 200 injured wild birds. We could not do it without your help!

The Alaska Raptor Center relies on donations to advance its core mission of caring for and protecting birds of prey. Contributions directly support the rescue, veterinary treatment, and rehabilitation of injured raptors with the goal of releasing them back into the wild whenever possible.

Donations also sustain essential daily operations, including specialized diets, medical supplies, and the maintenance of aviaries and habitats for birds that cannot be released. In addition, funding supports staffing, volunteer coordination, facility repairs and improvements, utilities, and other year-round operational needs—ensuring the highest standard of care for resident birds and the continued success of rehabilitation efforts.
